How to Steal a Dog by Barbara O'Connor You will become quickly attached to Georgina and her friend Willy the little dog she steals in order to help her mother out of financial peril. Georgina lives in a car and is wishing for a real home and a real room in the hopes of creating some normalcy to her life. This sweet and touching story will work its way into your heart very quickly. This year's ALA Newbery and Caldecott Winners will be announced in January 2008!
